This New Mexico Frontera Corpus is a collection of interviews collected along the U.S. Mexico border in the South of New Mexico and in El Paso, TX. This project is housed in New Mexico State University’s Languages and Linguistic department. The corpus was created by Dr. Kate Bove and a group of excellent students. The corpus includes interviews that can be found in both Spanish and English and cover a variety of topics regarding participants’ lives and the culture along the border. All audio and transcriptions have been checked and each interview includes a list of themes.
